<div>1958年生まれ、愛知県出身。早稲田大学スポーツ科学学術員教授。1983年東京大学医学部卒、同大学整形外科学教室入局。静岡厚生病院、都立豊島病院、虎の門病院、東大病院助手を経て、1993年東芝林間病院整形外科医長。1998年早稲田大学人間科学部スポーツ学科助教授を経て、2003年組織改編によりスポーツ科学学術院、2019年より現職。専門分野は、スポーツ整形外科、発育発達(成長)学。運動器の発育発達、運動器障害の予防、身体活動と骨代謝、身体活動による健康増進をテーマとして、研究・指導を行っている。日本体育協会公認スポーツドクター、日本陸上競技連盟医事委員。早稲田大学米式蹴球部。著書には、『フィーメールアスリートバイブル』(ナップ)、翻訳書には、『スポーツメディシンバイブル』(ナップ)、『エビデンスに基づくインジャリーケア』(ナップ)、『ランニング解剖学』(ベースボール・マガジン社)などがある。</div>\r\n
