<strong>平井伯昌(ひらい・のりまさ)</strong><br />\r\n
1963 年5月31日生まれ、東京都出身。早稲田高校→早稲田大学→早稲田大学大学院修了。東洋大学法学部教授、東洋大学水泳部監督。小学生のときに、東京スイミングセンターで水泳を始めた。早稲田大学では、水泳部に所属。2年生のときまで自由形中距離の選手として活動していたが、オリンピックを狙える選手の入学が決まったことをきっかけになってマネージャーに転身し、コーチングのキャリアをスタートさせた。大学3年時の1984年に開催されたロサンゼルス五輪に際し、奥野景介(当時、早稲田大学1年。現在、早稲田大学教授、早稲田大学水泳部コーチ)の代表入りに貢献。卒業後は、大手生命保険会社に就職が内定していたが、コーチングのおもしろさに魅了されたため、自身の出身である東京スイミングセンターに入社した。1996年から北島康介を指導し、2004年のアテネオリンピックと2008年の北京オリンピックにおける100m平泳ぎと200m平泳ぎで2大会連続2冠達成という偉業に導いた。2008年10月から日本代表ヘッドコーチ(～2021年8月)、2015年6月から日本水泳連盟競泳委員長(～2021年6月)を務め、2013年4月から現職。東洋大学では、2016年リオ五輪400m個人メドレー金メダリストの萩野公介、2021年東京五輪200m個人メドレーと400m個人メドレー金メダリストの大橋悠依をはじめとする、オリンピックのメダリストや日本代表選手を多数育てている。著書に『平井式アスリートアプローチ』(小社刊)がある。<li></li>\r\n
