<div>1969年7月3日生まれ。神奈川県出身。桐蔭学園高を経て、慶大では4年時に主将(捕手)で春秋連覇。日本石油では社会人ベストナインを4度受賞。96年アトランタ五輪で銀メダルを獲得。同年秋のドラフト6位で近鉄入団。2001年限りで引退後は球団職員を経て、04年に横浜二軍コーチ。06年に新日本石油ENEOSの監督に就任し、都市対抗優勝3度、日本選手権優勝1度。12～14年にかけて都市対抗13連勝、12年の都市対抗、日本選手権、13年の都市対抗と“3連覇”で15連勝の記録を持つ。15年に慶大監督就任。17年秋、18年春、19年秋にリーグ優勝。同秋の明治神宮野球大会を制し同監督退任。12月1日からはENEOS監督に復帰。NPBでの通算成績は83試合、打率.232、2本塁打、11打点。</div></li>\r\n
